INFORMATION pursuant to Article 13, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") for participation in the Technical Innovation Competition 2023 at AGRILEVANTE by EIMA

1. DATA CONTROLLER
FederUnacoma S.u.r.l., with registered office in Via Aldo Moro, 64, Torre I, Bologna, in the person of its temporary legal representative, is the data controller of your personal data (the "Data Controller" or "FederUnacoma").

3. DEFINITION OF PERSONAL DATA AND INFORMATION ON PROCESSING ACTIVITIES
Pursuant to the GDPR, common personal data shall mean: "any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference in particular to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity" (the "Data").
FederUnacoma will process the Data contained in the application form for participation in the Technical Innovation Competition 2023 at AGRILEVANTE by EIMA at the Nuova Fiera del Levante in Bari, in order to allow you to participate in the event.
The provision of the specified personal data is voluntary; however, in the absence of such provision, it will not be possible for us to fulfil your request or/and provide you with the requested service.

4. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING
a. To follow up your application.
Your data will be processed by FederUnacoma in order to process your application to take part in the Technical Innovation Competition 2023  at AGRILEVANTE by EIMA and to manage the related contractual relationship (e.g. planning of services requested by you, publication of exhibitors' data in the event catalogue, accessory services to your participation, etc.). The legal basis for the processing is the performance of a contract or the execution of pre-contractual measures to which you are a party. The provision of data is voluntary. However, your refusal to provide it or your complete objection to its processing for the purposes referred to in this point may make it impossible to participate in the event or/and to provide you with the service you have requested.
b. For marketing purposes.
The Data Controller may process your Personal Data in order to send you communications of a commercial nature and/or for promotional initiatives for the purpose of directly offering its products and/or services similar to those you have already subscribed to (e.g. updated information on our projects, activities and events). The legal basis for such processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller. In any event, you may object at any time to receiving such communications by writing to the Data Controller at info@federunacoma.it.
c. Fulfilment of a legal obligation.
FederUnacoma may process your data for purposes relating to the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject (e.g. for administrative, tax and legal purposes). The legal basis for such processing is therefore the fulfilment of a legal obligation.
d. Protection of a right.
FederUnacoma may process your Data for the purposes necessary to ascertain, exercise or defend a right of the Data Controller, including in court, or whenever judicial authorities exercise their jurisdictional functions. The legal basis for such processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller.
e. Statistical analysis.
FederUnacoma may process your Data in order to improve the quality of services and monitor the effectiveness of the initiatives promoted, produce statistical reports and/or behavioural models - in aggregated and pseudonymised form (therefore without information directly attributable to the individual concerned) - through the analysis of Data. The legal basis for such processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.

5. COMMUNICATION OF DATA TO EU AND NON-EU ENTITIES
Your data may be disclosed to the Controller's employees and associates in their capacity as persons in charge of or responsible for processing the data.
The Data Controller may communicate some of your Data to parties it uses to perform activities related to the organisation of the event and related initiatives and/or the publication of multimedia content collected during the event.
In particular, in order to achieve the purposes described in paragraph 4 above, as an integral part of the processing activities, your Data may be communicated to external companies, consultants, associates, in their capacity as Data Processors.
The list of Data Processors is updated by the Controller and is available for consultation at the Controller's premises.
The Data Controller may also communicate your Data to the subjects to whom such communication is due by virtue of legal obligations.
Your data will not be transferred outside the European Union. In any case, should your data be transferred to entities located in non-EU territory, all necessary precautions will be taken in order to ensure the most complete protection of your Personal Data in compliance with the conditions set out in Article 45 et seq. of the GDPR.

6. RETENTION PERIOD
Your data will be kept for a period of time not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed in accordance with legal obligations.
Data relating to you, collected in order to allow you to participate in a specific event and/or initiative or provided in the context of the same, will be processed for the entire duration of the event/initiative to which the collection relates and will be retained for the applicable prescriptive period following the conclusion of such event/initiative, exclusively for purposes related to the fulfilment of legal obligations or the defence of FederUnacoma's rights in court.

7. PROCESSING METHODS
Processing is carried out using manual and/or computerised and data transmission tools, in such a way as to ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data in compliance with the physical and logical organisational measures provided for by the provisions in force, so as to minimise the risks of destruction or loss, unauthorised access, modification and unauthorised disclosure in compliance with the methods set out in Articles 6, 32 of the GDPR.

8. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT
During the period in which FederUnacoma holds or processes your personal data, you, as a data subject, may at any time exercise the following rights under Articles 15 - 22 GDPR:
Right of access - You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data relating to you are being processed, as well as the right to receive any information relating to such processing;
Right to rectification - You have the right to obtain rectification or updating of the personal data we hold about you if it is incomplete or inaccurate;
Right to deletion - in certain circumstances, you have the right to have your personal data deleted from our records;
Right to restriction of processing - under certain conditions, you have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data;
Right to portability - You have the right to obtain the transfer of your personal data in our possession to a different data controller;
Right of objection - You have the right to object, at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you, including profiling, based on the lawful condition of legitimate interest or the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority, unless there are legitimate grounds for the Data Controller to continue the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
Right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority - in the event that FederUnacoma refuses to comply with your requests to exercise your rights under the GDPR, the reasons for such refusal will be provided. If applicable, you have the right to lodge a complaint as described in paragraph 9 below.

9. COMPLAINTS
Should you wish to lodge a complaint about the way in which your data is processed by FederUnacoma, or about the handling of a complaint lodged by you, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
